Sustainability has always been an aspect of M&A. However, the way we look at it is changing. It is no longer just a risk factor to be assessed but rather about turning threats into opportunities. In my session I will guide you through this transformation process and explain you how Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) aspects are influencing the Due Diligence Process, how sustainability will gain in importance as a boundary condition of M&A deals and how it increasingly is considered as a growth factor. Last but not least, we will discuss the role that sustainability will play in your M&A strategy.
The intervention fo Kerstin Fehre will be followed by a panel discussion with Ariane Olive, M&A lawyer specialized in ESG aspects, and Grégoire Buisson, CEO of Epsilon Research.
